On the pages of this catalog, for the first time, all the currently known beard signs numismatic monuments dedicated to one of the reforms of Peter the Great - the ban on wearing a beard and mustache are presented. Along with the originals 1698, 1705, 1724 and 1725 the book also describes the newly made signs minted at a later time. The main part of the catalog was made up of the author's own collection, as well as signs from museum collections of the world. The book is provided with extensive reference materials, historical documents that served as the basis for the coinage of the bearded signs and their release into circulation, a search engine for images, as well as a translation of both English and German. The catalog will find its readers from among museum workers, collectors, keen numismatics and historians.
